🍪 Green Tea Cookie Recipe (Makes ~4 servings)


📝 Ingredients:

140g unsalted butter

100g sugar

1 egg (beaten)

8 drops vanilla essence

250g plain flour

8g baking powder

8g matcha powder (sifted)


 🧑🍳 Instructions:

1. Soften the butter in the microwave for 20 seconds (don’t melt it completely).

2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the butter until creamy.

3. Add the sugar and mix until well combined.

4. Add the beaten egg and vanilla essence, stirring thoroughly.

5. Sift together the matcha powder, flour, and baking powder, then gently fold into the wet mixture.

6. Cover the dough and chill in the fridge for 1 hour to firm it up.

7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into your favourite shapes.

8. Place on a lined baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.

9. Cool completely before storing or serving.
