Prep & Bake Time: 40–55 minutes
📝 Ingredients:
◎ 1/2 cup butter (melted)
◎ 2/3 cup sugar
◎ 2 large eggs (beaten)
◎ 1 cup plain flour
◎ 1/2 tsp baking powder
◎ 1 tbsp matcha powder (sifted)
⏲️ Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F).
2. Melt the butter in a bowl, then add the sugar and mix well until smooth.
3. Gradually add the beaten eggs, stirring well to combine.
4. In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and matcha powder together.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into a buttered loaf pan.
7. Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
8. Let cool slightly before serving.
