Japanese use traditional tools such as KUROMOJI chopsticks to take a WAGASHI from your host. KUROMOJI is made of wood and has a flat shape. We usually use it when the host serves WAGASHI such as YOKAN (Redbean jelly). Hosts need to wet and dry the KUROMOJI before serving WAGASHI.
